PracticeTrove user guide

About this guide

This guide shows how an accounting practice runs in PracticeTrove: setting up the firm and its people, the services and their due dates, the clients and the services they take, the work and its deadlines — for clients on TroveSuite and for clients who are not — review and filing, engagements, acceptance and engagement letters, reports, reminders and security.

Each step has a screenshot with numbered orange markers; the numbers in the text point to them. Each step says who normally does it. The screenshots were taken on 2026-10-05 with the release of PracticeTrove then current; your screens may differ slightly.

The illustration follows Okafor Bello & Co, Chartered Accountants, of Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt — the firm of the SQMTrove and AuditTrove guides. Its people in this guide are Adaeze Nwosu (managing partner, owner), Ifeoma Chukwu (head of IT and practice resources, practice administrator), Nkechi Okafor (partner, business advisory and outsourcing), Bashir Mohammed (partner, Abuja; audit), Tunde Bakare (manager), Chioma Eze and Ibrahim Musa (staff) and Kunle Adebayo (director of quality assurance, viewer). The clients include Savannah Harvest Agro-Allied Limited (the company of the BookTrove and PayTrove guides), Adire Threads Enterprises Limited (not on TroveSuite) and Ikeja Polymers Manufacturing Limited (the audit client of the AuditTrove guide). Everything is fictional.
