Part A: For partners. How tier reviews move you between Bronze, Silver and Gold, with the emails you receive and worked commission figures excluding VAT.
Your tier is reviewed automatically on the first day of each review period (every month unless TroveUniverse sets 3, 6 or 12 months). The review looks at your sales in the 12 months before that day. New partners keep the starting tier until their first review at least one review period after approval: approved on 10 December, Amaka kept Silver at the 1 January review and was reviewed on 1 February.
When your tier changes you get an email. Commission already recorded keeps the rate it was earned at.
5.1 Moving down to Bronze
Why
Two new clients paid in January, but one month's payments were below the Silver threshold, so Amaka moved to Bronze. The email gives the sales figure the review used and the new rate.

- Nothing to do. Keep referring clients: every payment counts towards the next review.

Savannah Harvest paid ₦135,000 plus VAT and Okafor Bello & Co ₦2,500,000 plus VAT. VAT is left out: Amaka's commission is 2% of ₦2,635,000 = ₦52,700.

- 1 February: Amaka was approved on 10 December, so she kept the starting tier at the 1 January review (less than one review period after approval) and 1 February was her first real review. Her sales in the 12 months before 1 February were January's ₦2,635,000, below ₦10 million: she moves from the starting tier (Silver) to Bronze.
- 1 May: sales from 1 May 2025 to 30 April 2026 were ₦10,699,285.71, including a refund netted off: at least ₦10 million, so Silver.
- 7 July: after Okafor Bello & Co paid AuditTrove for a year on 6 July, TroveUniverse ran Recalculate now. Sales up to 7 July were ₦31,114,285.71: ₦30 million or more, so Gold from that day. The automatic review on 1 August confirmed Gold.
5.2 Back to Silver
Why
By the end of April, four months of payments (less a refund) took her 12-month sales past ₦10 million.

5.3 Moving up to Gold
Why
Okafor Bello & Co paid a year of AuditTrove in advance, and TroveUniverse ran Recalculate now. Gold applies to payments received from that day.

The yearly AuditTrove payment itself was received on 6 July, while Amaka was still Silver, so it earned 2%: ₦14,040,000 × 2% = ₦280,800. At Gold it would have been ₦351,000: the rate on the payment date applies and is never changed later.
