Release 37 brings BookTrove to the phone for stock takes and asset checks. It is in every plan; stock takes need the plan's Inventory and asset checks its Fixed assets.
| What changed | What it does | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Field mode settings and phones | On or off for the company; the location policy; any phone or approved phones only. Each phone is listed and can be approved or withdrawn. | 27.2, 27.9, 27.10 |
| The field app | Sign in on a phone with your own login and authenticator code; a PIN encrypts what the phone keeps; it works without a signal and sends when back online. | 27.6–27.11, 27.14 |
| Stock takes | Set up for a warehouse; blind counts on phones with conditions, notes and photos; items found that are not on the list; recounts. | 27.3, 27.12–27.16 |
| Count documents | The review flags differences, items counted differently and stock that moved after counting. Counts become draft count documents; posting allows for what moved after each item was counted. | 27.24–27.29 |
| Asset checks | Check assets against the register on phones: seen or not found, condition, tag, serial, location, custodian and photo; assets seen that are not on the list or not in the register. | 27.4, 27.18–27.22 |
| The register | Asset tag and custodian; each asset's last physical check; the missing-asset review. | 27.31–27.35 |
| For auditors | AuditTrove can read the fixed asset register at a date through its read-only token, for its own asset verification. | Chapter 23 |
